Welcome to Laboratory of Ploidy Pathology
Welcome to the website of the Laboratory of Ploidy Pathology at the Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, The University of Osaka.
As a laboratory specializing in cellular ploidy, we are conducting research with the aim of elucidating the relationship between polyploidy and disease, and developing new medical treatments that target ploidy.

A paper by Harada-kun (currently in the Division of Gastroenterology, Kobe University) has been published in Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology and Hepatology!
This is an impressive piece of work that he completed while continuing his clinical practice at Kobe University after finishing graduate school. Congratulations!

Matsumoto gave a presentation at the symposium organized by the AMED/U.S.–Japan Cooperative Medical Sciences Program (USJCMSP), held at the National Cancer Center in Tokyo. Many of the latest findings on p53 were presented, making it a highly informative and valuable experience.

At the 48th Annual Meeting of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan held in Yokohama, Matsumoto served as both the chair and a presenter in the symposium “Impacts of Chromosomal Diversity.” The discussions throughout the entire session were very active, making it a highly meaningful event!
